Impact

HeraMED powers better pregnancy care experiences for expectant mothers and care providers worldwide.

Santosh Pandipati

MD FACOG, Clinical Lead Virtual OB, Pediatrix

Providers enjoy the safety net of increased data monitoring and the ability to reduce in-office visits. It’s safe and enjoyable for providers AND patients, and is a great example of how we can use emerging technology to deliver better quality, and more personalized care.

HeraCARE was implemented to power Virtual OB as the new model of care in two sites under the Pediatrix Medical Group: San Jose & Atlanta

Highlights

Outstanding satisfaction scores

Broad patient and provider satisfaction with hybrid maternity care model

The reduction of office visits while providing the same or superior-level care

Earlier detection of hypertensive pathology, as early as 25 weeks

Patients in the Virtual OB Program captured more than 2.5 times vital measurements

Early indicators can potentially lead to improved health outcomes and possible reductions to overall cost of care

Dr. Cliff Neppe

Director of OBGYN at JHC

Over the past 18 months, we have shown that a novel,
maternally administered fetal heart rate monitor (FHRM) has
accuracy and safety equivalent to gold-standard clinic-based
cardiotocography.

HeraCARE was implemented as the new standard of care in JHC
(part of Ramsay Health Care)

Goal: Support expectant mothers in Ukraine with access to remote monitoring technology in a time of war

Highlights

HeraMED donated devices and professional support for the use of HeraBEAT and HeraCARE in Sheba’s ‘Shining Star’ Field Hospital in Ukraine

Mothers were able to take their fetal heart rate measurements and have them reviewed in real time by providers from Sheba Medical Center in Tel Aviv.

building bridges to better understanding between Israelis and Palestinians through health.

Highlights

HeraMED Provides the core RPM technology supporting the Project Rozana initiative in collaboration with OB-GYN Beyond, Sheba’s virtual OBGYN department.

The cooperation pioneered maternal-fetal telemedicine, creating a breakthrough in remote fetal assessment.

Project Rozana plans to establish remote OB-GYN units in the rural Hebron area that will be fully operated by Palestinian healthcare teams and later plans to expand throughout the West-Bank and create a significant impact on large population in the near future.
